What is RAD GRAD?      It’s a safe, drug and alcohol free party for La Cueva graduates on graduation night sponsored by the La Cueva PTA

Who is invited?    All Class of 2024 La Cueva graduates (no guests)                           

When and Where? Monday, May 20th, 2024, 11:00 pm-3:00 am at Hinkle Family Fun Center 

Cost? $45 per student before May 1st, $50 after May 1st

FIRST 100 tickets sold get a free t-shirt

Activities

  • Cash Cube (for first 100 tickets sold)
  • Casino games
  • Prize wheel – everyone wins something!
  • Raffle prizes 
  • Photo props for selfies and a map to mark post-graduation destinations
  • All Hinkle attractions: XD dark ride, go karts, laser tag, mini golf, arcade, bumper boats
  • Pizza and Snacks

Donations

There are several ways you can contribute to Rad Grad. 

1.) Donate directly to Rad Grad using this link:

2.) Donate gift cards (in any denomination between $5-25) and mail or bring into the school: 

La Cueva High School, LCHS PTA Rad Grad Committee, 7801 Wilshire Ave. NE, Albuquerque, NM, 87122. 

3.) Donate a “large” item for raffle (items like bike, dorm fridge, laptop, jewelry, etc)

Security

  • Police security provided; breathalyzer used at the door; no in-and-out privileges; parents called if a student wants to leave before 3 a.m.
  • Check-in from 11 p.m.-12 a.m.; no outside drinks/water bottles allowed; leave all valuables, purses, and backpacks at home (only photo ID, phone, credit/debit card, keys allowed *LCHS student ID required*)

In order to attend RAD GRAD, you must agree to the following rules.

  • There will be NO RE-ENTRY into Rad Grad; once you leave, you cannot come back into the building. 
  • Your parents will be called if you leave before 3:00 a.m. If we cannot get ahold of your parents, you are not allowed to leave. 
  • Do not bring purses or backpacks. No drugs or alcohol allowed. We will have security and a breathalyzer present.  
  • Check-in at Hinkle begins at 11:00 p.m. and ends at 12:00 a.m. No one will be allowed in after midnight. YOU MUST HAVE A PICTURE ID TO ENTER.
